VIDEO PRODUCTION

In modern times where everyone is competing for attention online, people tend to flock towards people and personal brands that they know and trust.

My team and I understand this, because we come from ad agency backgrounds as creative directors and marketing strategists. We use our expertise in working with top tier brands like Toyota, Hyundai, Red Bull, Kawai Pianos, and more to help our clients with their content marketing strategy and creative.

Mini Documentary Films

My team and I produced and directed a series of video projects for automotive eCommerce giant FCP Euro, as part of a larger content marketing campaign that included several monthly photo shoots and production of long form articles on the website, which were then repurposed into short form content for daily social media blasts and weekly newsletter marketing campaigns.

The woman featured in the video above, Belinda Sarooei, is a successful entrepreneur and CEO of a clothing company, an is known and respected in the car community for her tireless dedication to her W111 Mercedes Benz fintail. Shortly after we shot this video, she was honored and featured by Mercedes Benz in their own magazine, as well as the esteemed Automobile Magazine from the Motor Trend Group.

This entire production was done by a two person team from Sureshot Creative.

Corporate Videos & Interviews

This is a video from a series we shot for client Hiraizumi Law Group, an Orange County based law firm that specializes in Estate Planning, Trusts, and Wills.

As the founder of the law firm, attorney Jill Hiraizumi-Artino is a huge fan of Gary Vaynerchuk’s content model, which includes creating lots of customized still and video content to build trust and a personal connection with potential clients.

We’ve produced, shot, and edited several videos for Hiraizumi Law Group on a regular content schedule, but here a few samples.

At the top of this page is one video from a Client Onboarding Video Series that the HLG team sends out to new clients to answer frequently asked questions and get them prepared for the different steps of the estate planning process.

We decided to shoot a full video about a person who we previously featured on the FCP Euro website - Justin Fon Cashmore. As the owner and builder of this Renault Dauphine, Justin always wanted a stylish, fast car… but after he retired from the US military, he decided that he would use his skills and ingenuity to build himself a fun car with his own two hands instead of just going to the dealer and buying a sportscar.

This video tells his story. A careful eye will also notice some subtle product placement in the footage.

When I showed up to Justin’s garage, I noticed he actually had a box from FCP Euro sitting on the side of the garage. When I asked him what was in there, he said, “before you shot my car, I had never previously heard of FCP Euro… but I started checking out their website since my car was featured on it, and since I wanted to rebuild my engine anyway, I bought a bunch of rebuild parts for my Volkswagen-powered Renault, as well as the other VWs and Mercedes builds we’re working on here at the garage.”

Who do you know that could use a video like this to tell the story of their business or personal brand?

As a bit of a departure from the Client Onboarding Video at the top of this page, attorney Jill decided to begin inviting guests into her office for interview videos to help her reach a broader audience, and form personal connections with more potential clients.

In the video above, Jill talks with her friend, realtor Lauren Weber about the real estate market, and asks Lauren to give specific tips on buying and selling homes.

The purpose of this interview is to have a content collaboration that both Jill and Lauren can post on their social media feeds to drive traffic to one another.

This 2-Person interview was shot on TWO Canon HD cameras on Manfrotto carbon fiber tripods, with wireless audio being recorded by Rode Wireless Go II with lavalier mics. The scene is lit with three lights in the room - a huge softbox to provide soft light on both people in the shot, and two fluorescent Kino-flo style lights for hair lights.

The lighting setup, audio recording, composition and video recording was performed by Antonio Alvendia, and editing was handled by Travis Hodges of Sureshot Creative.

In the video above, Jill interview Neil Allen, Director at MyGym in Irvine. This video is part of a “community spotlight” video series that Jill is doing with other business owners/managers in her local area.

Similar to the other video, the purpose of this content collaboration is to build bridges and bonds with other business owners, with both parties publishing the video on their social streams.
