Events

I have a unique eye and philosophy when it comes to shooting events, whether they be corporate functions, parties, trade shows, food festivals, car shows, weddings, or parties. I’ve traveled the globe shooting 40+ events per year for the past 15+ years.

I have a background in editorial reportage since I’ve previously been a photojournalist for print magazines and newspapers. I know what it’s like to capture the story from an outsider’s perspective, capturing candid moments as they occur.

However, I also have a background in commercial photography and directing photo shoots. I’m not shy when it comes to roving around an event full of people I don’t know; often times I’ll approach people that seem open to it and engage with them. This helps me create even better photos that still look candid, while capturing the fun, emotion, and energy of the situation.
